Weber gets mean, Illini get victory

"I learned something myself (after the UIC and Missouri losses): I can't let up on these guys," Weber said. "I have to throw chairs. I've got to yell at them. Just do things. I hate that, but I learned you can't be nice to them. You guys can tell me I'm not nice to Demetri, but you can't be. He just doesn't deal with it very well.
"I think the whole team (thought) they arrived after Gonzaga. They didn't want to listen. I tried to just (let it go), hoping that it would pass. But it didn't pass. It got worse. I think, obviously, there was a disturbing loss and then a hard loss and (then) just listening better."
