Illini hanging heads after letdown

The letdown prevented Illinois (13-4, 3-1 Big Ten) from starting 4-0 in conference play for just the fifth time in the past 24 seasons. It was the kind of letdown this group has suffered in the past.
"You've got to come to play every day," Bruce Weber said. "It's my job to get them there, but at the same time, sometimes, it's got to come from within. Every game has to be a championship game."
