Attendance at Indy could use a boost

Thinking of coming over to the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis?
Do it. Tickets are available.
It's interesting, because the tournament was held at the United Center in Chicago for its first four seasons before the league decided to rotate the event between Chicago and Indianapolis. Then in 2007, the league awarded a five-year contract to Indianapolis and in the three years since, attendance has been pretty disappointing.
Average attendance per session was 13,620 in 2009 (an all-time low) and 16,315 in 2010.
