Tim Hardaway Jr.

Freshman Tim Hardaway Jr. led Michigan in scoring in Belgium. He was named to the Big Ten's All-Freshman team and forms the league's most promising backcourt alongside sophomore Darius Morris. "He is extremely coachable," Beilein said of Hardaway. "And he gets better because of it." An NBA prospect, Morris is an ideal playmaker for Michigan's complicated offensive scheme. Top defenders D.J. Richardson and Brandon Paul said the first order of business is to keep the 6-foot-4 point guard out of the lane. "They got us on some backdoors (in the first meeting)," Weber said. "They had three or four of those they got easy layups on."
