Younger Illini hope struggles are over

Richardson arrived at Illinois as a surprisingly good shooter after spending a year at Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. In his first 52 college games, he made 41 percent of his 3-pointers. He was eighth in the Big Ten in 3-point accuracy as a freshman.

Now his scoring has become nearly nonexistent. Richardson has had three scoreless games in conference play, including two in the last five games.
