Business dean Larry DeBrock will lead search for Guenther's replacement

A search committee will be appointed immediately to find a successor to Athletic Director Ron Guenther, who has announced his retirement, a top UI official said Monday.
UI President Michael Hogan has asked interim University of Illinois Chancellor Robert Easter to oversee the process of finding Guenther's replacement, then make a final recommendation to him, Easter told The News-Gazette.
Larry DeBrock, dean of the UI College of Business, has agreed to chair the search committee, and other members are under consideration, Easter said.
