Egwu gets high marks for early play

Despite Egwu's basketball background being very limited compared to most, he developed exceptional habits under the direction of Mike Mullins on the Illinois Wolves AAU team. Most notably, Egwu never stops running the floor and putting in effort.

"He just doesn't stop," transfer guard Sam Maniscalco said. "He keeps going and going and going. It's a quality you can't really teach. It's something that's instilled with him."
