Trulon Henry shot in hand, out for rest of regular season; Ron Zook press conference

Zook: Trulon "doing pretty well. Any time you have a bullet go in your finger, it's not good." Probably in hospital for a day or so

Zook: younger players go to the house because there's usually no issues, issues arose last night; Trulon stopped by to get them out

Zook: no other players hurt; about 5-6 players were at the party

Zook: furthest thing from his mind is to know who will fill Trulon Henry's spot (I imagine it'd be Ashante Williams)

Zook believes Henry was shot in the ring finger.

Zook: "We don't normally have curfews per se on Saturday night." Younger guys that don't play were "being college students"

Zook: probably won't take disciplinary action against players. Says its hard to keep them on curfew when students aren't in a dorm.

#illini Zook received a call at 3 a.m. informing him of the injury. Trulon called him this morning and apologized.

#illini Zook has not talked with AD Mike Thomas yet, but he's been informed about it. Zook trying to collect the facts.

#illini Zook: "We got some issues we got to correct on the football side" but will talk to players about staying away from bad situations off the field
