1/4 Games: #1 Kansas 109, #2 Oklahoma 106 3OT

Lon versus Self today. Both teams playing very well, Kansas has the advantage playing at home, but also probably the best team in college basketball right now, independent of home court advantage.

Should be a good one.

UNC at FSU is the game before this one. Also on ESPN. 6:00 pm Central.
Also a good game, with UNC favored by 1.
If you can set aside 4 hours on a Monday night, could be some pretty good basketball

I like Groce, and think he will get the program going.....But it is depressing to watch our two former coaches face off as the number 1 and 2 teams in the country. What could have been?

I have always felt that Lon was going to move on. He seems to move quite regularly. But Self? 1-2 more years and he would've had it rolling so well that I think he retires here. Very sad timing

Calipari left Memphis after losing a combined 14 games in his last 4 years. Self was always going to take the Kansas job if it opened up.

Pretty impressed with how OU responded to getting down against Kansas. Hield is shockingly good and is extremely slippery and fluid in the lane. It's pretty amazing to see how much talent Kansas consistently has and yet always seems to underperform in the tournament.

Also on a much more depressing note, it sucks watching a guy like Bragg sit on the bench at Kansas. That kid would start every game for us...

I'm shocked at how many calls there have been in favor of OU. I hate Kansas with the best of them, but man they have gotten screwed on countless calls tonight..,

Self was always going to Kansas. It wouldnt have mattered if he was coaching previously at MSU, UNC, Duke, etc. As soon as Kansas opened up, thats where he was heading.
