If that's the case, why is Lou? I know that Pearl said in the last 10 or so years he has said nothing happen, but Illinois was punished.

I think it has more to do with UNC shooting 7 from 9 from 3. Team ball could be spot on but it'd be extremely tough for anyone to win they're shooting that well.

UNC is just a more talented team. Nova has to be really hot and UNC no so hot for them to win it.

Cheating pays (at least if you're a blue blood - if you're not, you're punished doubly).

Villanova did a loooot of iso down the stretch of the first half.

Also, I'm really impressed with the reffing tonight so far. I thought they'd let UNC get away with murder, but they've actually had more touch calls go against them than Villanova has. I'm quite sincerely surprised.

Nova so crafty. Ball fakes, show and turn. Scoring in many ways. Not sure if they got enough gas but there are sure looking good with 8 mins left.

Both teams are really good. Fun to watch.

I am pulling for Villanova mostly because I like Brunson. Wish he would have come to Illinois but, can't blame him for wanting to be a part of this Villanova run.

Looks like Brunson catches Jay Wrights wrath and a quick hook once in awhile but, usually gets back in fairly quickly.

Villanova's halftime adjustments were good. UNC has weathered the run though, and we're in this final stretch, now. It's going to be dicey. Tarheels are in double bonus.

Nova guys are just great at keeping their pivot foot on drive-and-stops in the lane.

I don't think Wright is mad at Brunson it's just their rotations don't call for JB to be in there that long. Plus Booth is playing really well.

really exceptional. That's gonna stay in a lot of memories for a long time. What a great bait and switch on the final play. 2 defenders following to challenge Arch and he flips back to a trailer for 3 . Wright is a pretty good tactician

Good game...imagine having the talent where Brunson is on the bench at the end of the game....I know he's handed the keys next year...but you've got some players if he's not on the floor. I guess players play players at 'Nova.
