The one thing I love about this Villanova basketball team was their ability to handle the ball and their bounce passes, almost every pass was a bounce pass. I don't know why but they just made it looks really good.

I loved that as good as they were offensively, they understood, to a man, how important it was to play defense.

Nova took 15 less shots and lost board battle 36 to 23. I guess good D and shooting 58% allows you to overcome some weaknesses. Jenkins reminds me of D Green a little.

Few things make me happier than seeing Roy Williams and every ignorant, loud-mouthed UNC fan get their hearts ripped out. Great game, great win.

P.s.- the crying Jordan collage is epic.

Really enjoyed watching that game. Didn't think I would and considered skipping it, but . . . I mean . . .c'mon . . . its the last game of the season . . . you gotta watch. And the best of all possible results. A UNC loss !!! Coincidentally Villanova won, but that was secondary to me. Now, NCAA, the ball's in your court.

I only watched the last 3 minutes. Worked out pretty well for me.

Amazing ending.

People will say that it was indeed the year that a surprise team could win it, but at the same time, Villanova beat Kansas, Oklahoma, and North Carolina in their last 3 games. So, very deserving, that was not a one game miracle of a finish to an easy NCAA path. They arguably beat what were considered the best 3 teams in college basketball during the regular season.

Yep, I'm happy for him and had no problem pulling for him. He respected us when he made his decision.

I've got a buddy who is from NC, and he has multiple posts complaining about the officiating. It's very hard not to make a comment along the lines of "How did you feel about the officiating in '05?"

Refs didn't determine this game. Some were missed both ways. I recalll an out of bounds under 3 min that NC got that clearly should have been Novas. I.was really surprised at how little refs used monitors down stretch.
