If the Gunners get Mahrez, they're going to be sick. Favorite, for sure.

still need a backup striker with welbz injured. lots of teams strengthening already; i wouldn't call us favorites just yet, even with mahrez.

Also might have to start following the Bundesliga more. Obviously, the Fox coverage doesn't compare to how good NBC does with the EPL. But I think they try to get a game or 2 on each week. There are a ton of Americans playing in Germany right now.

I can't believe there's a premier league thread! Sweet!

As a Liverpool FC supporter, I'm looking forward to the season to see if Klopp can get the club back to the top 4. On paper, Liverpool don't appear to have a side worthy of the top 4, but there is plenty of talent in the midfield and up front. Sturridge's health will always be a concern, but Origi showed late last season before his gruesome high ankle sprain that he was up to the challenge. Firmino, Coutinho, Mane, and Wijnaldum (and Ojo, hopefully!) will also offer plenty of goals

Moreno at left back is a major defensive liability, so it would be nice if Klopp can sign someone for that spot. In goal Mignolet certainly doesn't inspire much confidence, but he is serviceable and with an improved back 4, he could hold up. Most LFC fans are hoping Karius is the answer. For what it's worth, per one metric he was 2nd rated keeper in the Bundesliga behind Neuer last season.

I'll go out on a limb that LFC signs another left back before the transfer window closes and with the lack of a European campaign which will allow Klopp and the team to train during the week, focusing solely on the Domestic League and Cups, Liverpool will be able to sneak into the top 4.

One of Man U, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea will miss out!

Which means Leicester and Tottenham take steps back, too!

If Man U gets Pogba (has that gone through?), I'm going to have to admit with a heavy heart that Man U are the co- favorites with their other rival, Man City.

Forgot about West Ham. They'll be up there too with Stoke and Southhampton. Man, the BPL will be a gauntlet this season.

No other league can boast the coaching depth either. Gnarly.

Love Klopp, but LFC doesn't have enough to finish top four. That autocorrect on Sturridge is a hoot!

Just my 3rd season of futbol and picked LFC to follow so the review is much appreciated.

1 more week! Nothing like Saturday morning soccer followed by a full day of college football.

Can't wait to see what kind of effect Conte has on my Chelsea.

Saturday and Sunday EPL mornings are great! So happy NBC got the broadcast rights and televise all the matches.

Besides Conte, I'm interested in which version of Hazard shows up this season. Oh, and John Terry is still a dick.

Top 4 battle should be about as entertaining as it's been in some time.

Which means that it will probably be over by December.

NBCSN only has a couple of matches per week. Sometimes there are matches on the main NBC channel. But, there are usually a half dozen matches each week on the overflow Live Extra channels. Unless Vue gets these, you will miss a majority of the matches each week.

NBCSN usually carries 2 matches on Saturday, 2 Sunday and 1 Monday. USA Network usually has a match Saturday and Sunday.
