Man, this Washington team has a whole mess of talent. Speed, speed, speed.

If they can be as well coached as Chris Petersen's Boise State teams they will not be an easy out of the national title race.

ND is destroying Syracuse. We're happy that Barbers didn't come here with that horrible D, right?

For someone who watched his teams at EIU, even I could have told you that the defense there wasn't going to be great.

Oh yeah, I had no interest in him because of his defense. I just know he was a wanted commodity around here.

Babers is going to do great things. And they each have 3 tds, the difference in the game is a reverse two point conversion. Hardly being destroyed

I'd argue that if he could coach a defense that it wouldn't have mattered.

Oklahoma St has blocked THREE Texas PATs in this first half. Returned the first one for two, almost did the same on the third. Unreal.

Texas AD to evaluate "everything". To me it is counterproductive and I'll say reckless for him to articulate this kid of thought. Who would want to work there.

Another great week. I know there is a lot of football left, but picking the playoff is setting up to be really tough this year. Ohio St, Michigan, Houston, Louisville, Clemson, Bama, Washington are all looking close to unbeatable...except against each other. And I don't know what to think about Tennessee. These slow starts will have to catch up to them at some point, right?

It seems that there is another power shift in the B1G. tOSU and UM are top dogs in the east but who will rise to take MSU's place if MSU starts to decline?

In the west it seems Wisky and Nebraska are top dogs but Iowa is having a rough year and so is NW. Who will take that 3rd spot in the west? Hopefully it is time for the Illini to improve to a top B1G West team over the next few years.

Fully believe we will be top dog in the West.

The State of IL is twice the size of every other state in the West. We have, by far, the biggest name coach and best staff. We're pumping 150+ mil into MS. Don't think we'll have to worry about the instate kids playing for Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, or whoever for much longer.

I agree it does look like MSU is on the decline. Good :D.
