I would think that the NU / Texas game will be interesting for us.
NU could be a pretty fair match up for us this year and if they play Texas well, that will be a serious alert for us.

On now, going all day. Wisconsin routing Tennessee early.

Northwestern also plays Texas later.

Kind of confusing. Thread title says Maui invite and I saw Northwestern was on there and thought wow, Chrissy's pedigree got them to the Maui. Checked and nope. :thumb:

Looking forward to watching the Oregon vs. Gtown game though.. Tennessee not going down without a fight.

Anybody else see that big dude from central Florida last night. Tacco!

How tall is that guy exactly? 7'-6"?

Yeah, kind of hard to say this, but he runs so good for a clumsy type of fella. :thumb: Was comical when he fell, not in a bad way but just that his name is Tacco Fall and well.....Tacco Fall! :D

He is just a sophomore and does have some skills. Roster says he is 7'6" and 290. If he weighs 290 then I don't want to step foot on that dang scale.

Wisky wins by 12.

They had a blurb that Tacko Fall is one of the 40 tallest people in the entire world.

That would be an interesting get together.

In other news: Eastern Illinois wins!

I'm pretty sure Fall redshirted last year.

Off topic:
Wow, I was wrong about Luke Kennard. That release is lighting quick, and he can get his shot off even when heavily guarded. He's looking better than Grayson, but I imagine his usage lowers when the three freshmen get back.

It's going to be tough keeping FSU out of the top 25. A lot of talent even without Malik Beasley leaving after one year. Coach Hamilton will earn that paycheck this year. They have a 7'4" player in Chris Koumadje. He's not a top of the rotation guy, but he is huge like Tacco Fall.

Lon Krueger is an amazing coach. The Sooners might not be as strong as last seasons squad, but they'll win 20 with a lot of new faces.

Is Washington State predicted to be any good? Even without Matt Chastain, Loyola just beat them 88-79 at Paradise Jam.
Donte Ingram, a good friend of DJ's, who committed to Loyola the same day DJ committed to the Illini had 17 points. DJ, it's your turn to go off.

The Cougars have a big that is legit(they always seem to have one),but it's Oregon St. that has been on an upward recruiting cycle. Loyola has another guard who has been playing awesome in Milton Doyle who I believe is a rs-junior.

My "other" alma mater is UCF, '81-'84, so I follow the Knights pretty closely. Tacko went to a small prep school in Orlando to finish HS, there were some problems with his credits almost up to the opening game last year, that was straightened out, he was cleared to play...did NOT red-shirt last year. He is hugely improved over last season, gonna be a fun season to watch. Knights hung with Nova for a while last night, actually won the 2nd half.

Would trade that instantly for winning the other night against Ford! :tsk:

Same here. And against a Troy team that they could have beaten a week ago in Alabama. The game was a Kid's Day game (which is a nice thing you see some programs doing nowadays) where all the local school children got to come out and see the game.

Panthers host South Alabama on Saturday afternoon.
