What's the college rule? I'm behind too.

its not just collage as long as the ball is still on its way up weather it hits the board or not you can still block it. trouble is its not called that way very often

Well to be completely honest that's probably the game right there. Mav....just wow. Unless we can somehow adjust here NC State is probably gonna run us out of the gym. Disappointing but I love love love what I see from TJL.

Wikipedia says:

In NCAA basketball, WNBA and NBA basketball, goaltending is also called if the ball has already touched the backboard while being above the height of the rim in its flight, regardless of whether it being in an upward or downward flight or whether it is directly above the rim.

If this was football in the SEC the asst coach in charge of subbing would be relieved after the game.

it is called but it is not the rule that's the point

Can someone explain our strategy on offense? We seem to get so few easy buckets. This team takes so many contested jumpers...

No, that's the rule. From NBA.com

d. During a field goal attempt, touch a ball after it has touched any part of the backboard above ring level, whether the ball is considered on its upward or downward flight

Okay that's what I thought. Thought I was going crazy there for a second

Just complete lack of effort and heart. Those are two loose balls that we showed no interest in being a part of the play. That one cost us 3 points.

Wondering the same on our offense. Dribble down. Ball screen to isolate a jump shot. Everyone else watches?

Tracy and Leron need to be out there much as possible. The more aggressive they are, the better we are.

John you have nobody to be mad at but yourself. It's not the players fault that your putrid offense doesn't work. It's not players fault that you are incapable of making appropriate and logical substitutions. This is on you big boy.

At the same time, the more aggressive Malcolm is, thee worse. He is much better when the offense just comes to him but he forces it all the time.
