Ehh, if we have to depend on an Atlantic 10 team to make the tourney, we probably shouldn't be in. I still think that will be a nice win at the end of the season, but I think the NC state game was bigger

VCU is not good. Showed it last Saturday, tonight, in preseason, and are yet to put a good win on their resume. For our sake, hopefully they right the ship and finish in the top 4 of their conference. Good thing we took care of them by double-digits.

Also, Ohio St is going to be on the bubble, and their loss to Florida Atl. is much worse than our Winthrop loss (albeit not by much) and will help us in terms of evening us in bad losses, but hurts us if we don't take at least one game from them this year. OSU is a MUST WIN in my mind now.

We do not play in CBus this year.

I think we may fair a lot better in conference than many previously thought.

We are going to have to as the way the Big 10 is trending we may only get 5-6 in the dance.

Indiana, Purdue, Wisconsin: In and pretty good seeds.

Michigan, Michigan State: 6th-8th seed but still comfortably in. I'm trusting that Izzo will recover.

Illinois, tOSU, Maryland, Northwestern: Bubble but 2 teams in.

Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, Nebraska, Rutgers: Ehh

I could see Minnesota moving up a tier though but they haven't played anyone yet to really tell how good they actually are.

..just my updated prediction.

Watching the Washington vs. Gonzaga game. Washington is REALLY bad. Wow. How does Lorenzo Romar still have a job?

I was torn. On one hand, resume. On the other hand, eff their cocky fans.

It's early, but Maryland getting a game from 1-5 Howard

Maryland is struggling so far this year. The defense is a shell of what it once was. Not sure what's happening there...

When I saw them coming on yesterday, I was trying to think off the top of my head who had replaced Romar a few years back. Then I realized he still had the job.

I think this is a good way to look at it. The first tier wins between 12 - 15 games, second tier 11 - 12, third 9 - 11. 11 wins gets us in the 5 - 7 range which will get us in if we finish 10 - 3 non-con. If we lose a game remaining in the non-con, I think we are on the bubble even with 11 wins.

Perennial underachiever, but he still pulls in talent. Never does anything with it, but he pulls it in nonetheless.

OrangeFever must be lobbying on his behalf everyday. Remember how much he loved Romar? So much.

Up tempo helter skelter offense puts up points. LR let's em play. He's also the most clueless defensive coach out there.
