Lucas is obviously more talented than Tate. Quicker, handles the ball better, offense flows better with him in. Why does Groce refuse to use him earlier in games till now. Is he blind?

I agree 100% -- I was in Maui that year and watched in-person as our team CRUSHED everyone in that tournament, including a Butler team who was pretty talented in the championship. Where's that swagger? What the h has happened?

I was so very optimistic after the first year.

I've never had insight into a college team's operations. Certainly Groce can't be responsible for every game plan, and lineup/matchup.

Is one assistant responsible for gameplans? Do they share that responsibility? Who sets the rotations?

At this point I have no problem if Groce is dismissed, but can this be fixed by upgrading a weak link assisstant? Who would that be?

Games like this and Maryland have just happened way too often in Groce's tenure. There is no excuse for this to happen to such a veteran group over and over. Even if he has some good recruits in the pipeline I can't see how Groce keeps his job at the end of the year barring some miracle turnaround.

The numbers don't lie. Groce is 30–44 (.405) in Big 10 play. Absolutely unacceptable for a 5th year HC.

In both this game and the Maryland game, we have gotten the ball down low in good position with zero results. That can't happen. Need A LOT more from the 5's!

For one thing, he keeps taking bad shots - his shot is elbows extended - not sure why he's shooting 3s and trying to shoot off the dribble. He is catch and shoot from 15.

IU's no 2005 Arizona, either. They play fast and often with poor defense, something that can lead to a quick change in the score against any opponent.
