I love their court. I am mesmerized by it. Can't stand Walton, though.
I know Illini fans aren't allowed to like Bill Walton because of that Elite Eight game a million years ago, but now that they've embraced his ridiculousness and paired him with someone who can be a straight man for his schtick, I find it pretty amusing.
I can't watch if he is doing a game. When he is not musing about the psychedelic colors of some obscure thing outside the stadium, he is being a homer for the Arizona or UCLA team he is covering.
Agreed and I don't even care about the homerism.
He is an absolute buffoon and ruins the game
One of those types that's funny as heck the first couple of times you listen, then gets really old really quickly.

Warms my heart to see that ahole Fran McCaffrey lose his mind. And the sqawkeyes lose. It's a great night.
What did he do tonight. Heard from some buddies he went off and was wrong about the calls too.
I have to be in the right mood to listen to him. If I'm already frustrated from the day he drives me nuts.
But Oregon is great. And fun to watch. Not as fun as ND in my opinion, but I like them.

Iowa has a decent young nucleus that they can build around. McCaffery is a hothead(looks can be deceiving as if you picked him out of a random lineup, you would think he was a very quiet/timid/unassuming guy) but he can coach and he can develop players. So, I think Iowa is in good hands besides for his outbursts which seem to be a problem 1 out of every 3 games.
I don't think Maryland goes far in the tournament but it's clear Turgeon can coach these guys up. I thought it was a well played game. It reminded me a bit of the Illinois game. Maryland had the game in the bag and let Iowa get right back in it.

Lol, Walton is the only reason I stay up until 12 central on weekdays to watch Pac-12 basketball. Shrooms have fried his brain and you never know what crazy thing he's going to say. Oh yeah, and he's a walking legend.
