Maybe Roberson? Anyone know who he's been the lead recruiter on?

I only think Dorsey because I believe he been wanting to come for awhile. Now he sees it on campus and has a lot of committed with him. He said signing day but I think he is in now. No knowledge just from how he has been on twitter just seems he is the one

It's going to be great news either way. Lovie and company are getting in on recruits that Beckman and Cubit never could. Dorsey has an offer from LSU, which makes me very excited. I also think Palczewski (sp) is going to be All Big-Ten caliber.

Dorsey did correct himself on twitter. Guessing one of the committed kids on campus gave him hell about it.

Dorsey has a number of great offers so he is a nice pick up. I'm guessing the plan is to red shirt him and let him put on put on 10-20 lbs. That's really what we should have done with Holcombe but I know we were desperate for playmakers at WR.

Was Dorsey a basketball recruit at one point? I remember his 247 profile listed him as a SG when we initially offered him. I wonder if some of those offers are not for football?

Yeah, he didn't play football his junior year because he was focusing on hoops. Legitimate D1 prospect at SF (3*) as well

Smalling, Green, Dorsey and if we add (hopefully) Roberson. That would be some legit talent in the pass catching department. Even what looks like to be out of the running with Thomas.

Calibear, Thnx for the analysis. What do you think about Williams; you forgot to include it? He seemed to play really smart with great anticipation. Doesn’t seem particularly fast though. I have heard some safety. Any chance he could put on enough weight to be a OLB? What do you think about Pate? I really like his highlights. He looked like a 3-Technique DT to me and could be pretty good one. Staff doesn’t seem to be emphasizing him so I am probably wrong. Also, what are your thoughts about Palczewski. Probably my favorite OL. Seems really fast and I love his nasty streak. (Sorry, don't know how to quote. It won't let me so I must be doing something wrong.)

On2Long I actually tried a lengthy post on Williams right after the d-ends post , not unusual it did not go through.
Essenitialy I agreed with your views. Like speed a little under what I would want but he just is instantaneous on read and reacting, putting himself in the right spot. He has ex-vg ball skills with hops to make that work. I see him strictly fs he has nice size now and my fear would be if he got much say over 208 or 210 he might lack enuff sp for fs and you lose some of those nice coverage skills due playing upper further in box and wonder about reaction or having enuff quick twitch.
I think he would make a solid fs. Rated out as a mid 3* or 6.25

I think Dorsey is a much better prospect than Holcombe from last year. There were questions as to whether Holcombe had the frame to get enough size to split out for an off the line t-end. To me he looked like he would land in no mans land not fast and quick enough for wr and not big and strong enough also lacking genuine desire to block for a t-end.
We should have an uptick at t-end with Palmer , Dorsey and hopefully Reams filling some of that of the line work for the position.
