2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The only thing I truly ask is that the Hawks get through the games in Nashville without that awful "I like it, I love it" song playing...

Much, much better period.

Switched to Calgary Anaheim between periods. Crowd is impressive, Lower bowl at least all in red. At the same time, the wide angle view kinda looks like empty red seats :D

Question: is it not offsides if the defending team puts the puck back into the zone,? Talking about Hartman's play.

(b) If an attacking player initiates any contact, other than incidental contact, with the goalkeeper, while the goalkeeper is outside of his goal crease, and a goal is scored, the goal will be disallowed

This is what rule says. Essentially NHL decided that they can run into Crawford and it's not intentional.

Thank you for the clarification. I thought You are not allowed to touch the goalie even outside crease , but you never know.

Is there a more useless replay system than hockey? I have seen many questionable calls that Toronto either overturns or sustains in head scratching manner, including a goal tonight for Anaheim.

Wow, just like in the Hawks game, the controversial goal I mentioned in the Calgary Anaheim game plays a part in forcing overtime.

The player did a "drive by" and kicked Crow's left pad / elbowed Crow in the head as he was attempting to stop the puck. There was nothing incidental about it. Obviously someone in the NHL front office wants Nashville in the 2nd round.

Well, I certainly did not see this Hawks-Preds series playing out like this. Even down 0-2 I felt the Hawks had a chance. I remember in 2011 they were down to Vancouver 3-0 and came back to force a game 7 that they lost in OT. I have a feeling that they are dead men walking now after the way they lost last night. I will save my post-mortem for when they are eliminated.

if the Hawks can somehow, someway win 4 in a row to take this, it will be one of the biggest stories in Hawk lore, depending kinda where they go after

my guess ? were done. the odds gotta be really really bad right now

Definitely a disappointing result tonight for the Blues. No doubt about it.

Team didn't show up in 1st period and things went south from there.

Only real positive from tonight is that Tarasenko finally got some shots on goal which will hopefully be shots that start to go in the back of the net.

Need to have a better performance in Game 5 on Saturday.
