Anybody else hearing that JT is likely to "sign" with us? I think that is what HC's post was saying, but I am not 100% sure. The rumor is that Smith committing to us alleviates JT's worry that he wouldn't have enough help (if true I am not sure I like hearing that but I still want the kid to come to our team).

If Jeremiah Tilmon came to my house and said he was going to Illinois, I wouldn't believe it until I saw him actually on the court at the first game wearing an Illini uni.

The subjunctive mood is the verb form used to express a wish, a suggestion, a command, or a condition that is contrary to fact. In this case, use of the subjunctive mood would dictate "was" becomes "were", as in "If I were a college basketball player . . . "

Love it. I say keep it up. Even if it is I whom you are correcting. I may not know split infinitives or dangling participles (oh, those dangling participles, dangerous things) I like to know basic stuff.

He did have a great game as MOKAN goes to 6-0. Beat Canada UPlay 65-51. Cuonzo will have at least 2 excellent players in his first year or two at Miznoz. But RJ Barrett the consensus number 1 player for 2019 was the best player on the floor. UPlay didn't have much else though.

I was going to respond that considering Virginia is an excellent school, they would probably have a good music program, too, but then I thought I better back that up with some research. There are a lot of rating services and Illinois isn't even listed on many of them (but neither is Virginia) but I did find one that seems to concentrate on universities and colleges only and Illinois is ranked 17 and Virginia is 160. So, we certainly win that one.

And now I get to watch the 2018 number 1 ranked player - Marvin Bagley. He went for 26/20 last weekend against the Fire but the Fire still won. Same court as the game with Porter and RJ Barrett. Very convenient for the Duke and Kentucky coaches.
Also seeing a lot of UCLA sweatshirts in the coaches seats.

Phamily needs to get Bagley some help. He's a great player but when you're facing a team with 2 5 stars and a 4 star (who is reminding me of Pete Maravich - same floppy hair and protruding adams apple, name is Matthew Mayer) and all you've got is a lot of 2 and 3 stars surrounding Bags, you're going to get stomped.
Although Bagley just had a steal and another dunk and it's down to single digits. Was 20 pts just a few minutes ago. Bagley's totals must be awesome though.

Yes he does. Randle was an enigma. So much talent that was never realized so let's hope Francesco can realize his talent level for us and be really good player.

Randle, sure. But I'm thinking the second coming of our Mr. Augustine. Badocchi looking very efficient at the rim in terms of rebounds, blocks, and scoring. No extra movements. Just get the job done and move on.
