Illiini

In the land of the Nittany Lion
He could just enroll at the school of his choice, but it is likely he will announce it before.

But he would have to go through the usual application process, wouldn't he?

Francis Okoro 2 pts, 4 reb, 2 blks

How can Okoro be putting up such low production? I get that AAU is a guards game, and I've watched him live as he plays on the same high school team as the son of a high school teammate. And I get potential.

But he walks into the gym and he has the carry of an ELITE athlete. In warm ups he looks every bit the part of a top 20 type kid....and then the balls gets thrown up and nothing happens.

My personal opinion is he's misused in high school...as an Illini fan I've seen enough balls screen by big men 35 feet from the bucket...or a high post flash turning into a lazy cut out to 25 feet by your best big (who cant shoot outside of 10 feet) simply to reverse the ball. But Okoro's ability to get up and down the floor and his leaping ability should get him a bunch of rebounds and easy putbacks.....I just don't get it.

There don't seem to be as many tweets about where OA and Chin are compared to Walker and Underwood

They were in Atlanta for the Adidas session last night. Supposed to be in Indy today and tomorrow for Nike EYBL and Under Armour sessions.

I watched all of the Bradley Beal game last night and can only comment on that game. It was loaded with 4 and 5 star kids on both teams and frankly, Okoro looked a bit overwhelmed and a step slow. He is playing up a year, but between Wiseman, Thatch, Hellems and Garland - FO didn't see the ball much. On defense he was coming up late a lot -- game was pretty torrid and back and forth. Nike Team Florida has 6-10 Vernon Carey who is ranked as the number 2 player in '19, 6-10 Trendan Watford who is a 5 star, ranked in the top 20 for '19 and 7 foot Balsa Koprivica who is a 5 star ranked as the number 4 player in '19 -- that's a pretty talented and big front line and Okoro just isn't at that level, and it showed last night. The fact that Wiseman at times looked like the best player on the floor is what surprised me, considering the competition.

Thank you! Have they been paired up for the most part so far this evaluation period?

Not sure, last weekend it seemed Underwood and Chin were at EYBL in Hampton, Jamall was in Dallas for Adidas and Antigua was in NYC for Under Armour. This week Nike and Under Armour are both in Indy so they may all end up there by tomorrow.

Thanks for the input Mike. Is EJ Liddell playing with the Bradley Beal Elite 16s or 17s?

Talen Horton-Tucker is a whole lotta hustle. Kind of a junkyard dog whose skills are quickly improving. Underrated passer.

According to ESPN who is not always up to date, MSU, NCS, Texas, UCLA and the guys to our EAST. IMO he will stay somewhat close to home, but I will probably be proven wrong.

Wait those schools for Tilmon?
NC State couldn't get him in a million years. Those all would be nEw names recruiting him. You sure espn meant Tilmon?
