I know through the years this board has overreacted on quite a few late Illini targets, but if anyone screams "I belong in this offense!" it's this Badocchi kid.

Maybe. I hope he commits. He seems really unskilled. I'm thinking Robert Bennett.

Hmmm pretty much all cynicism and hatred buried deep in my heart for IL basketball will melt away like the Grinch if we end up getting MS, Tilmon and Badocchi after the coaching change.

2nd time you did this... First time was the same day that news about Mark Smith not going to OSU started to pop up, even though it did happen, there had to be a reason the news started to spread... I'm going with a stretch here and saying you're the new ultimate insider.

He's got a couple inches on Robert. but if I recall correctly once Robert graduated and stated playing for one of the old travelling teams, might of been the fellow ship of christen athletes he turned into a pretty good outside shooter. Lou just wanted his centers in the paint, Chris Gandy was another one Lou tried to make gain weight and play inside, but once Lon took over and let him play the way he wanted, was a lot better all around then we would of ever known

It would be BIG to pick up a commitment from either Ayo or THT , and very Big to get them both to commit. It would really let the staff turn their focus to the 2019 class


I believe we will have our 17 class pretty well done by this time next week, so that should help things as well

Someone said a few days ago that MS would break the UI ""And 1" record". Well I think Badocchi would contend for that crown as well.

If I was going to have to pick a player I would go with Victor Chukwadaba and yeah I am sure that's not spelled right , couldn't spell it back then either


Personally would love to get this kid and see him sit out a year just to work on things, along with DaWill just to get him in perfect health. Then add AYO or THT or both in 2018 be a nice group to go back to back with this year

I'm greedy, I want both of them. They've already got a chemistry that is fun to watch. THT had 7 assists tonight and 4 of them were to Ayo. Talen goes twisting and hopping down the lane and then turns and hits Ayo on the side or at the top of the key with a perfect pass just as Ayo is stepping into a 3. Beautiful to watch. THT is such a dog, he'd be like getting Goodwin in that respect. Tough, never gives up. Love watching those 2 play.

Oh im not disagreeing, I would love to get them both committed, and I wouldn't be to shocked that it wouldn't happen like back with BP,DJ, and JB.
I would guess if one does the other would very shortly after. It would be a great problem to have, to be worried about having room.
