Soccer player turned to BB. ?
That's just lazy. How do you miss a state's Mr. BB?that's with 2 services not ranking him at all.
Just got a note that the RSCI rankings were posted. Not sure if it's new info or just some update, but it's there:

Smith at 88, but that's with 2 services not ranking him at all.

Actual game footage and 3:55 is a good sign, quick up and down floor.
Ike Eke his teammate is listed slightly smaller at 6'9 and 215 vs 6'9 and 220...I think Gregory looks noticeably bigger than same height and 5 pounds in this video...we may have gotten the better of the two really if we get him...
http://thecatchandshoot.com/uic-commit-greg-eboigbodin-continues-his-rise-at-u-of-d-jesuit/, Way Betta post moves..Way betta...lol love it
http://widgets.boxxspring.com/MzAsNDMwMTc4MjE - he beats his teammate several times on post and drives in latter part of video
Thanks for the videos, I agree, he definitely has potential and upside and has some touch from the outside to go with his length. He's clearly a project and will need development time, but he will be fun to watch develop.
Ike Eke is going to Marquette and was recruited by Pitt and Xavier and others, so he is clearly the better of the two players.
Mentioned that other P5s have shown interest according to Ebo's camp.
For anyone who doubted his ability, the guy has a camp now.
Figure of speech. I think Piper talked to his HS coach, who was along on his visit.
Check your sarcasm meter....
Not sure if anyone else listened to Derek Piper's new podcast with Annice McEwan (who is apparently on WCIA3): https://twitter.com/DPiperScout/status/870098172714115076
Anywho, Derek mentioned that Ebo has taken other visits and may take more. Mentioned that other P5s have shown interest according to Ebo's camp. Still seems confident that he'll be an Illini though. Sounds like he's only been granted a conditional release, so he can be recruited. Hasn't received the full release that would allow him to sign scholarship docs or enroll.
But soccer players have terrible hands
So, is it possible UIC could block Ebo from coming to UI?
They let him out of his NLI. They can't block anything.
Latest solid info is that UIC has given him a conditional release, which allows him to be recruited. However, he has not been given a full release to sign/enroll at a new school. It's hard to see UIC not granting a full release to it's parent university though, even if it requires a little power-playing behind the scenes.
Ebo is a reach and seems like the staff's 4th or 5th option.
Shades of Jaylon Tate in this recruitment (reach at a position of dire need)--but that doesn't mean he won't or can't work out. I have a ton of confidence in BU, and (I think) late blooming bigs are an ok bet.
