It's a sports message board format used in places other than Tigerboard. But not very many places.

The places that still use it basically don't care about attracting new users. They have their core group that will stick around more or less forever.

Mizzou just barely beat Emporia St.

If it was a women's game, I wouldn't be too surprised. Emporia State has had one of the best women's D2 programs in the country for at least the last 6 or 8 years. But their men's teams have been average at best. Doesn't bode well for Mizzou if this was anything but a lackluster effort on their part.

Michigan loses by 2 to LSU;

Michigan didn't play particularly well outside of Wagner and Matthews (though Matthews missed a key free throw late), getting very little from Robinson and its 3-headed point guard (Simmons, Simpson, Brooks) and a usual Abdur-Rahkman contribution; LSU has some players this year and will be interesting to watch over the course of the year. Their point guard (Waters?) is quite the player -- small and very fast; once the game slows down for him (he had a bunch of turnovers this game), watch out.

It seems like Charles Matthews has found the right environment, he definitely jumped the gun in his UK commitment.

From interviews I have read with him, it seems the Kentucky experience humbled him a bit, and it's pretty clear the work he has been putting in. Looked great yesterday. Don't recall if Illinois tried to get involved when he was transferring, but he's going to be solid for Michigan the next couple years.

Generally not a fan of Michigan athletics (but think Beilien is a great coach), but it was nice to see a kid who basically played very limited competitive bball in the past two years get out on the floor and just enjoy competing and being in his element. He looked great, but as importantly, looked like he was having fun. We will have our hands full against Michigan this year.

Ken Nunn with 12 pts and 3 rebs on 4-17 shooting last night against Syracuse. Oakland plays Kansas later in the week.

My head hurt after thirty seconds of looking at that poorly crafted MySpace page. That thing looks like it was designed by someone... well... with a degree from Missouri, I guess.
Incorrect. They sent it out to a 3rd party.

Mizzou only offers 2 majors.
