This is a really big game.

We can fill that arena. Let's do it.

According to Ticketmaster only about 1,500 tix left, so a crowd of 15,000+ is not out of the question. I'm there!!

Agreed, big game, win this and wake game becomes pretty unimportant. Beat Maryland after and no one will even remember it.

I feel good about this game. Our guys will be playing pretty close to home against a rival who may go to the tournament for the second time in the program’s history. I’ll make one observation and one prediction for this season: I am willing to bet at some point, Jordan replaces Smith in the starting lineup.

Additionally, if you go back to BU’s tenure at Ok State, only 3 of their 13 losses were by double digits with one those being by exactly 10 and another was to the eventual national champions. The point is that BU is going to keep us in games the majority of the time and we won’t be beat from a coaching aspect before the game starts.

Yeah, AJ will crack the starting rotation soon enough, I believe.

Hate to say it, but NW by 9.

Just ordered mine. Not very many sections left. I received an email about a pregame party somewhere in Rosemont area. Now I can't find the email.

Looking forward to seeing the team in person. It is a much more fun brand of basketball to watch. Would love to beat the kitties and their arrogant arses by 10 Friday

Looking forward to attending this game. Should be a great environment with lots of Illini fans.

Northwestern has pretty much the same personnel as the team we beat 2X last year.

Interesting statistical tidbit: TJL combined for the 2 games had 20 pts, 9 assists, 3 steals, and 3 turnovers.

Interesting that Jordan is coming off the bench, but I wonder if it's just part of how they're wired, or a way to motivate them. Jordan has played incredibly well, certainly better than anyone dreamed (well, maybe not Rob, if you're reading this :p ).

I don't know that it matters to Underwood who starts, and I'm sure he wants both players confident and contributing.

Here is Northwestern's ticket site to buy tickets for Friday's game. It looks like there are more than 1,500 tickets left.

You are right. There are zero left in the lower 100 level sections and 0 left between the end lines in the 4 upper level sections. Checking the remaining upper ends and corners and doing a rough calculation for each section it would appear to be 3,000-4,000 total left. I show Rosemont with a capacity of 17,500, so a crowd of 13,500+ is a better number. A few on Stubhub.

NU, not much depth and lackluster performances so far. Starters average a lot of fouls. If can get a few in foul trouble in the first half, I really like our chances.

ILL 80 NU 73

It is likely be another learning process. NU is not a particularly good team but they are miles better than Wake

WF looked way better than NU did and they played 2 hours apart yesterday. Meaningless rankings still at this point in the season.

Unless they've changed how they do things, this is wayyyyy too early for an Orange Krush invasion. Who goes and who doesn't is all decided on a point based system and you accumulated those points by attending games, donating food, toys etc. That's why the invasions are always later in the season so there is enough of a points database to pick the actual top 150 Krush members.

I knew you'd know.:thumb:Also, don't they try and rotate thru the B1G and if I remember right they were in Evanston about 4 years ago?? I think Leonard's Soph year.
