4/5ths of our offensive line was listed as an honorable mentions. Hope for the future, or lack of Freshman lineman that played meaningful minutes? I'm guessing the a little of both.

I was looking at the AP All Big Ten team today. Eight players from the state of Illinois on the first or second team. None of them played for the Illini.

And I don't think Lovie is improving the recruiting in the state much if at all. Any thought that his tenure as Bears coach would help him in the state or Chicago area is being shown to be false.

We put 3 from Illinois on the All Freshman team/mention this year. We seem to be going after lineman from Illinois and speed from Florida. I'm more than ok with that system if that's what they staff is doing.
