It looks like 247 sports gave him a rating of "82" since he committed. This is what bumped up his ranking today. When he committed, the composite was only using his rating on rivals.com which is a 5.4 (2 stars).

His Senior film is impressive. Very similar type of player as Stanley Green and his ranking is fairly close to what Green's was out of high school:

I'm interested to see where Hardge and Martin end up in the Secondary? I know someone mentioned that these guys could end up at CB? Hardge's Senior film showed him playing CB for his high school.

BTW, just looking at our recruiting rankings today, it looks like Rivers and Sandy moved up in the rankings. Sandy jumped 67 spots in the State of Florida rankings while Rivers moved up 45 spots in Texas. Myers looks like he took a bit of a dip as Taylor is now our second highest rated recruit:

This is a long shot, but I seem to remember that there was a 4 star recruit, possibly a DE, who went to the same school as one of our committed recruits and he had tweeted something about waiting to get his offer from us or something. It might have been a teammate of Avery. We hadn't offered him at the time, but I think maybe we did later. Does anyone know who this was? And what is currently going on with his recruitment? Thanks.

I believe it was Khris Bogle who is in the Class of 2019:

There's still a long ways to go in his recruitment but it remains to be seen how genuine his interest was.

I look for this young man to be just about as good, one of these days we will be able to get guys like this and not have to play them right off the bat and give them time to get bigger stronger and faster

Rivals put out their Top 100 for 2019. No players from Illinois, highest ranked player was #141.
