I wonder if we ever scheduled Arcadia University, back when they were Beaver College.

Not that they'd be much hoops competition, but Northumbria University in Tyne, UK was almost called Central University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Imagine those sweatshirts.

I think we shoot 50%+ from 3 tomorrow...one could say that we will be stroking it from deep against Longwood.

Underwood: Interesting few days of reflection. Thought it was a breakout night for our freshman. Got to a place in the game where they were mentally submerged. Trent was in a different place.

Underwood: Very exciting to see those guys get lost in the game.

Underwood: Having watched the film twice now, I'm more impressed than I was during the game.

Underwood: We have to quick fouling. We have to quick fouling. We committed 8 fouls in the backcourt that led to 16 points. Difference in the game.

Underwood: We're playing well enough to win. We've got to get out of our own way.

Underwood: By far our best game offensively in the halfcourt.

Underwood: We outrebounded the country's best rebounding team.

Underwood: Longwood is the counter to UNLV's size. Two guards that score it. Challenge for our perimeter guys to grow. Got to stop guards.

Underwood: Will be a little bit of a lineup change.

Underwood: Would not expect Leron to play. He's progressing. Did not practice yesterday

Underwood: Kipper Nichols got hurt in practice yesterday. Gametime decision. Foot injury.

Underwood: Going to see a small version of the Illini tomorrow.

Underwood: Leron's injury is not something we foresee as a long-term injury.

Underwood: Our best lineups have been small in the plus/minus. Something we've looked at quite a bit in practice. Some of our best offensive players on the court.

Underwood: More minutes for Greg. But needs to play with less reckless abandon than he's playing with. Would have fouled out in Vegas if he played 5 mins.

Underwood: We want to score early in the clock and late in the clock. When you're late in the clock, you give the defense a chance to make a mistake.

Underwood: Our two-man game on the backside was through the roof. Got great looks out of that because of ball movement

Underwood impact on the freshman w/ Leron & Kipper injuries: "They just became juniors."

Was holding my breath since Saturday for news like this. Even if he does miss Braggin Rights, this team isn't prepared to be without him for the season, which I had thought would be the case.

I hope some freshmen + Jordan can replace Tejon and Alstork as starters. Tejon and Alstork do not pose significant perimeter threats which choked our offense.

Frazier and Jordan open the the door for teammates.
