The end to the first half was a microcosm of this entire season.
This is the dumbest team I have seen at Illinois, probably ever. So incredibly careless, and we make such horrendous decisions.

was planning to post that's we're looking a'ight, all things considered in the 1st half. then that 5 pt. turnaround in the last 4 seconds...
This team and staff have offered some of the worst finishes to halves in the history of the game. Some excellent play at times, but simply all go brain dead in the last 10 seconds of a half. Simply write down the worst things that can happen that you want to prevent and it gets turned into a script to follow.

I mean if Underwood knows he's already lost MS next year then I guess letting Alstork play from the defensive side of the ball makes sense, otherwise

I understand guys being upset with Alstork on that play, BUT, what's the odd's of us scoring there anyway? Not likely. So why even take the timeout? And we waited a couple of seconds before even taking the timeout. Just go to the lockerroom and regroup would have been best.
Alstork is unable to control his body or his emotions...this season is toast..why play him. Not that are other options are better...but they have time to improve at least

It's a use-or-lose TO situation. Taking the TO was the right call. But clearly Underwood didn't account for his one senior making the sort of error that even I don't make in rec league basketball.

How many of you doubted that PSU would get the last shot in after the turnover? We all knew it would happen...because it always does. This is PSU for cripes sake. I don't care if they are having a good year...it's PENN STATE.
