Mark Tupper has announced his retirement effective end of May
As a newbie I cannot start a Tupper thread, but the guy deserves some recognition from Illini loyalists
In Riding Shotgun with Tupper, Mark talks about what he saw in Saturday's workout with Andres Feliz. Very good stuff here. Starts right about the 7:10 mark.
You can also catch his opener about him announcing his retirement. Very good writer. Gonna miss him.

Don't worry, foby. Some of us remember a young Loren Tate.
All the best to Mark Tupper. I wish he would reconsider, but it is what he wants that counts.
I covered the basketball team a bit for the DI while I was in undergrad, and Tupper is a great guy. That old guard of Illini beat writers all are, John Supine, Loren Tate, Paul Klee, Herb Gould, etc.
Ron Guenther is also a delightful man, which I obviously found extremely disconcerting
So Tups retires, and Loren sticks around? Because, Illinois...
