i personally witnessed last year's game in Tampa. I so wish i could have switched to this one instead. I can't wait for the second half. We need to just keep pounding the rock and wear this team down.

The But Monkeys are going to come up with a lot of if-it-weren’t-fors but the things that USF has done to shoot themselves in the feet are what we have done to ourselves in the past. And going into the half with last second—OK, last two second—points to put the game into a two score game...

I know it’s not over yet but it’s so much better to be able to talk about “extending the lead” than “coming from behind.”

For once it's them and not our guys with the foot-shooting.

I sure didn't imagine the Illini in the lead at the half, but yet here we are.

Same here! Hopefully we can!

USF has made some big mistakes, but I've got to say we've also scouted them really well too and are making them pay for their mistakes. Not sure about the switching to zone on D. But i'll leave that to the experts if it's producing results.

Mendenhall is awesome. currently a TV writer for HBO, on top of having written op-eds for Washington Post. Great guy and a model for what our guys should do outside of football.
