In a good way though! I bet this comes down to a final 3 of us, Louisville, and Kansas. I think Louisville is our biggest competition. Feels like we're in about as good of a spot as we can be. Fingers crossed.

If that is the true list, I like our chances. Both Kansas and Louisville have some potentially serious NCAA issues on the horizon (I know, I'll believe it when I see it). Even if the NCAA ultimately does nothing, we can still use the prospect of trouble to recruit against them.

Adam Miller down to NC State, Mizzou, Kansas, Northwestern, Chicago State, Wake Forest, Louisville, Arizona, Illinois, Arizona State.

Plans on cutting it down even more in a few weeks. Looking at a fall commitment. Has taken 1 OV to Louisville, he’s got 4 left.

Miller was talking to some blue bloods who had interest but they were reluctant to pull the trigger.

Illinois, Louisville, Kansas, NC State, Mizzou in that order would be my guess....at end of month, unless another Blue gets involved? Come August, I would think it comes down to us and Kansas due to Burnett being in love with L-Ville. That should push Miller to us over Kansas and DJ Steward is a toss up, don't think he ends up at Duke actually, nice to say he got that offer, however if we win the way we should this year....Miller/Steward coming here with Frazier/Ayo in their ears?

I have to wonder why he would include Mizzery on his list. Any connection there that anyone is aware of?

He must follow this board and have a mean streak. Not all bad for a player to have a little nasty . . . but to throw in Mizzery?

You can add in NC State and Arizona to the FBI sting list too. OTOH, what a nice salute to the Irvin's by adding Lance Irvin's Chicago State Cougars. Not sure what the Danny Manning/Wake Forest thing is all about other than Ayo had them in his final 3. Color me shocked if this one is not Illinois.

First endorsing playing in the gray area, then getting in bed with the Irvin's, then Creaning and now negative recruiting against other schools. It's amazing how losing can change the perspectives of loyal.

For the record, I'm for all of the above. Just pointing out the shifts over the years.

A top 10 list is akin to the announcement that the sun has risen this morning. I guess from an Illinois perspective it is at least a sunny day.

If Steward signs in the fall (which I'm assuming), it will be before we have a chance to demonstrate that we're back (or some semblance thereof). Going to be a hard pull.

So, no Tillman commitment (anywhere). What's the deal?

One of the stranger recruitments of all time considering his previous performance, plus the fact that he could potentially be immediately eligible. Watch it become even stranger when it comes down to Illinois or Rutgers. :)

I didn't realize there was a possibility he could be eligible immediately. Is that legit?

Feels like we're getting slow played...given his value, I have to assume there are some schools quietly in his ear other than the public Illinois/Rutgers. Yes, part of it may be the waiver, but it just feels weird.

My Illini paranoia is acting up, lol.

Oh great. Is this another one of those Ayo/THT scenarios?
I don't think so. Texas was the leader before Duke offered. I am sure the comment was about the odds of both and nothing on the personal level
