Game Thread: Illinois vs Northwestern

[BWBW]

Well, not encouraging.

Robinson had him there. That ball’s got to come out sooner. Would like to see Taylor get some snaps in this one

Honestly I’m not very confident at this point. Lots of starters out...

[Hopingfor500]

Was that a record for the quickest 3 and out in history? Wow....

Exactly. Gonna be tough to win with Robinson in there.

I don't get running tempo after unsuccessful plays, particularly deep in your half of the field.

Though Corbin is fast, they have a hard time blocking the outside run.
Robinson scares me at QB. Hope I'm wrong.

[kiwanegarris22]

Extremely 1-sided so far

[SouthFLILLINI]

They have come out very lackluster despite the pregame speech by Bobby.

[OskeeWowzer]

Illinois is Making it too easy....

[LJ22]

Maybe we want to like, I don't know, stop the run?

[FeelYourPaign]

Kitties running at will so far

[Ramrod2010]

Why even have DBs out there?

[Illinifan533]

Feels a bit like the first half of the Rutgers game.

[MoCoMdIllini]

There's a forced fumble. Can't recover them all of course.

[BWBW]

Oh my, we got lucky

[Ramrod2010]

Huge gift

[Retro62]

Bullet dodged

[FeelYourPaign]

Perfect throw by the mildcats... For the drop. Thank goodness we're only chasing 3

[BWBW]

Let's get 7!

[Retro62]

Robinson needs to keep our D off the field...gonna get really gassed without a break

[PNWIllini]

Gonna be a long day if we can’t throw

[FeelYourPaign]

So far, we can't open a hole or turn the corner. Concerning

[Hopingfor500]

We're being punished on the line of scrimmage....both sides of the ball.
