Horrible game by Kofi and Gorgi, no AG, TF playing maybe 10 mins, more TO than Michigan, and at Michigan, and we still win!!! WOW.. welcome to 2020 version of the Illini!

Before this game we were tied and I was hearing apologist comments about MSU having the tiebreaker...But the tiebreaker was on their court & with another game coming up mostly meaningless...So assuming MSU beats MN (& that is not a given), we are tied again; MSU would be 2-2 on the road (Wins at NW & MN, Losses at PU & IN). We are currently 3-2 on the road, with wins at MI/PU/WIS, losses at MD/MSU...looking back our 7-2 looks better than their schedule. Still a long and very tough road ahead before it means anything...but a 3-2 road start against the presumed top of the conference shouldn't be downplayed; definitely deserve first place at this point in time.

I'm excited about this season and I want to stay positive, but this program is going to be defined by the changeover of the next few seasons.

BU said on postgame radio that they called for a 1-4 flat set in the preceding timeout and didn't run a player to screen in Ayo's direction--presumably to make it impossible for UM to double the ball.

Totally agree. Ayo is 6’5 and had 25 already though. Make someone else beat you. Simpson defended it as well as he possibly could have.
Although I hate the overall pessimism of the 13-7 Kenpom finish he is also predicting BIG cochamps. Yes please!

Ayo have a game! Michigan really choked that one away. But every B1G champion squeaks out a couple they should have lost.
