That's where I think it will land. Hopefully that's the case. Why cant we just have MAY Madness???
With what happened in the NBA last night, they can’t risk itThis seems like a huge overreaction to me. They can't even play with no fans there? Is there any meaningful risk to anyone with no fans there?
Don't get your hopes up.
I highly recommend Joe Rogan's podcast. It's long...but the absolute best info I've heard or read since this started.
It's going to get worse....and it's not just hysteria....it's an actual expert telling you.
Yes there is. I suppose they could test every player and every essential personnel in the stadium and then quarantine everyone until the tournament is over. But really, if one player gets it the whole team has to be quarantined, and then games would be forfeit, and then it would spread to that team's hotel and so on.This seems like a huge overreaction to me. They can't even play with no fans there? Is there any meaningful risk to anyone with no fans there?
It says "no fans" but its staff, families, players, media, workers in the arena all present. This seems like a huge overreaction to me. They can't even play with no fans there? Is there any meaningful risk to anyone with no fans there?
I fully believe if Rudy Gobert didn't get the virus, the NBA would be playing, the MLS would be playing, and we would see a tipoff in the B1G tournament in 40 minutes.
The Rudy Gobert situation made this truly hit home for all sports organizations. If an NBA player, in a league with ultimate controls in place, can get hit with this....anyone can. If it turns out that this did spread to another player, where does it end? This seems like a huge overreaction to me. They can't even play with no fans there? Is there any meaningful risk to anyone with no fans there?
I'm hoping they still announces brackets too. I'm interested to see where Illinois was going to be seeded. Can we at least announce who made the NCAA tournament, so we can officially say the draught is over?
Minnesota and IU have been named BTT co-champs. Fans in Bloomington are celebrating by setting their porch couches on fire. Banner raising will be sometime in November.
If that's the case, maybe you should cancel the practice.Seriously, there are going to be more people at my daughter's soccer practice that I am coaching this afternoon then at the Big 10 tourney today.
