Decent competition. 127 on KenPom.
Finally -- good! Hard to watch these first two after awhile.

I don't mind leading/winning by 30-40 when it's the #1 team in the nation (Wake Forest in 2004), but I'm glad we're done with the patsies this season.

So with Ohio winning both games, it works out nicely that this is the "Championship" game.

A win here would be similar to beating the last place B1G team most years. So a 50pt win would actually be very impressive. Ohio should be good enough to keep it under 30.

Agreed. Not sure how this Ohio team compares to last year’s, but last year they lost to Nova by 24, Baylor by 23, Utah by 14, and Purdue by 18. If Illini win by 20-30, have to consider it a nice win.

I'm hoping by late tomorrow afternoon, the Illini can say "Never tried Bobcat before. Sure tasted good!"

I think we win 40+. Ayo goes off.

I watched and really enjoyed the 2nd half of Gonzaga/Kansas yesterday. The Zags scored 102 points vs. #6 KU, so our offensive prowess in the first two isn't nearly as impressive as we probably think it is. I also like the earlier analogy of Ohio equating to the last place team in the Big 10 (#14 NEB currently ranked the lowest in KenPom, just ahead of Ohio).

ILL 87
Ohio 71

I don't think we'll get 15-20 uncontested layups today, like we did against CSU. And, perhaps the walk-ons don't see any action. A 50-point victory against Ohio is a statement that we're moving up at least one spot in the AP rankings on Monday!
