In terms of players staying committed or committing? Can't believe I have to ask thatIowa is a big game in regards to football recruiting
OSU is ranked 2nd nationally Michigan is ranked 9th Wisconsin is 13th in recruiting

No kidding. All but one player in the article are top 500 recruits, and the exception is still top 665. I guess we have to wait for the "hidden gems" article.Bleacher report under the radar recruits in the big ten
How come nobody from illinois is listed? All of our recruits are under the radar.

Our FPI rank last year was 65 and michigan's was 12. This seems about in line with expectations based on recruiting.Do perform better, relative to recruiting rankings, than Michigan does?
What I mean is, based on our rankings we’re supposed to be bad, but last year we went to a bowl. Michigan was 9-4, but with consistent top 10 classes shouldn’t something like 11-2 be their expectation?
This year is weird for everyone, but assuming we played OSU we’d both be 2-4 most likely.
Are those places easier to recruit to than Illinois? why is recruiting so bad at IllinoisCool. What's your point?
Yeah, OSU and Wisconsin churn out NFL stars left and right, and Michigan has the football history. We have no history of producing NFL talent and no history of winning football games. We will have to find a coaching staff that can get wins with under-valued 3 star recruits, and produce NFL draft picks from them, before we can find consistent success recruiting. Are those places easier to recruit to than Illinois? why is recruiting so bad at Illinois
Why am I blanking on what PC stands for?Wisconsin churning out top 15 classes now is that a scary thought for Illinois fans? PC has a 2021 class that on paper looks very similar to PSU's 2020 and 2019 classes.OSU and Wisc are the only teams in the conference in 2021 cycle with a 5 star recruit. PC has taken their recruiting to the next level.
Assumed it meant Paul Chryst. Why am I blanking on what PC stands for?
Milton is gonna be fine young coach. If he can't play hire him to the staff. If he’s medically cleared, no reason we shouldn’t give him a call.
Did we do good?Iowa is a big game in regards to football recruiting
Did we do good?
Not a surprise. He'll be a lame duck at that pointRegardless of what happens with Lovie get ready for some changes. If Lovie is gone the attrition may look rough at first, but even if he stays there will be attrition.
Really, there is no excuse for this. None at all. It’s almost embarrassing that we would turn our back on this type of opportunity.Just another reason why our recruiting is so bad: Asmussen | Coaching clinic goes virtual — without the Illini | Coronavirus | news-gazette.com (news-gazette.com)
