Good news. That stoke average would place him second on the Illini squad, just behind Feagles at 71.56. Assuming no defections, this must be one of Small's biggest squads at 11 members.

Mike Small has done a tremendous job building the program into a powerhouse. I'm kind of surprised that a southern school has not swooped in to steal him away

Supposedly, some schools have tried over the years. He doesn't need to go anywhere, though. He's already competing for national championships. He's well-compensated. Illinois has excellent facilities. And he's living somewhere he is very comfortable

I'm with you. I thought that too. I went to EIU and they would give us the student rate .

Keep up the solid play and be a playing captain at the Ryder Cup.

So, I guess I didn't realize this but with the spring next year eligibility, Illinois is getting Feags and Gio back, Giovanni was actually really heating up leading into the spring portion of the schedule. This team is going to be a handful. They will go about 10 deep. Could be a really fun season to follow.

Yes. On the other hand, our guys are playing in tournaments all over creation as individuals. Go figure.

1st full field event of the year. The boys are leading through 9 holes, Dumont De Cha having a great start leading the tourney at -6, 30 on the front. Feags is looking solid also

If you mean vs. one other team, generally not. Most events include multiple team playing in each event.

What's up with the transfer LANG? Based on his background I thought he would be a consistent scorer for us.
