Its my birthday and I can't ask for a better present. My 15 year old son, and my 14 year old son, and I watched the game together while I enjoyed some blue label, a lot of blue label. When we went down in 2nd half my 15 year old said dad you need to go drink in basement (thats our good luck charm) ....I came back up for last 2 mins and my 15 year old and 14 year old shared a big hug at the end of the game and I got...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!

Can't Ask for more......

The Bohannon hate is strong on the Iowa boards and I love it.
He's money if open but a huge defensive liability and does nothing else on offense.
Toussaint did what he does in the first half, runs like a maniac into traffic and either turns it over or makes a contested layup.
Their PG position is a problem for them.

Kofi might have had a tough game but he came up huge in crunch time. He saved us with his defense late and his hustle on the missed FT. Then drove the final daggers into Iowa's heart with the two FT makes. Great players deliver when it matters most, and Kofi is a special dude.

Iowa has lot of skilled talent, but man are they soft. No effort on defense, no ball pressure, its just lazy basketball on that end. I don't think they'll get very far in the tourney without playing defense. Illinois, I really don't even think we played our best game, but we definitely played harder than Iowa. Ayo and Frazier did have their best games. The rest of the guys really didn't stand out.

We do seem to play better against soft up and down teams like Iowa, than teams like Mizzou/Ohio State etc who tend grind out games physically.
