As I slipped into relative "indifference" over the past 9 years, I hadn't realized how many horrendous losing streaks we had had developed in the Big 10 --- due to all of the losing under Weber and Groce (consecutive losses to WISC, consecutive road losses in Bloomington, etc.)

Sure is nice to finally be putting all of those behind us! Now let's make it 2 wins in a row against the Badgers!!!

This is your typical Wisconsin team. Slow, boring, fundamentally sound, and almost everyone can shoot the 3.

But I do think we match up well with them. We need to feed Kofi non stop. I think he can wear down Potter and Reuvers. Potter has been good this year but Reuvers has surprisingly regressed in his senior year. I like Trent guarding Trice. He will take him out of the game like he did Bohannon

I concur. I'm unimpressed with Wisconsin. Yes, they are sound fundamentally like always. I also think Illinois is better at every position.

#5, #6, #9, & #11 have already lost this week. With #3 currently down by 11 in the second half. If we win this one, we’ll move way up.

Kinda hard to get a peg on Wisconsin, they've been up and down lately, only 4-3 in the last seven, however, they are a well balanced team and I think they have at least five players averaging close to 10 points a game, Illinois has been in two straight wars, this game probably won't be any different.
