2/14 Games

A happy Valentine's Day to all.

Not a lot of games today, but of course the big one is Michigan getting back into action at Wisconsin. Badgers are one point favorites and the Illini and Buckeyes would take a .5 game lead in the B1G (but still be behind percentage-wise) with a Wolverines loss.

I'm also curious too see Nebraska play Penn State. It'll either make me feel better or worse about Friday's razor-thin win against a team that had lost 25 straight B1G games.

And, not that matters to the Illini, but the Memphis at Houston game will probably be pretty good basketball.

Having Wisky win will make the Michigan game with us more important. We still have to go play Wisky in Madison and they are beatable there this year. There are always pros and cons on teams competing with you when they play each other but in this instance, it is better that Wisky beats Michigan. Granted, it would put another loss on Wisky if they lose and basically almost eliminate them from a top 4 seed. We have two goals, winning the conference or making a sure we are a top 4 seed to get the double bye. Naturally it would be the number one goal is to win the conference, but if Michigan wins, we need to make sure we stay above the 4/5 line.

Torvik has us at a 95.8 % chance of making top 4 so I wouldn't worry too much about that right now. Definitely root for Wisconsin today.

Go Badgers! Beat these pansies! Cannot believe I just typed that.
I'm an adopted Badger for the day ... 3 early turnovers makes them look like they had the pause ... UM shooting poorly

Quick take, we have no one that can guard Wagner, they have no one that can guard Ayo. Anyone that is about 6'8-6'10 that can post and is pretty quick and can shoot from 3 we have no hope of guarding. Of course there aren't many of those guys, but we are less equipped to guard a guy like that than any team with a real 4.

Let's go Badgers!!!

Because I was curious, I looked it up. That 'W' logo on their shorts was their official logo all through the 1960's.

Chaundee brown might be one of the best defenders in the league. My guess is he will spend the most time on Ayo

Don’t agree.

Wisconsin shooting nearly 60% from the field in the first half, despite being one of the 3 worst offenses in the B1G (MSU, Nebraska) to this point while Michigan has been the best B1G defense in the B1G. Michigan a little rusty on defense, Wisconsin shooting a bit out of their minds right now.

FWLIW, ESPNs gamecast has Wiscy with an 86% chance to win as of halftime.

Feel like you could easily replace Davison with Damonte in that sentence. They both play the same role lol
I agree Damonte sometimes nudges across the line, but I have never seen him throw a punch into an opponent's nuts to avoid a screen (as Davison has). On this one, it looked to me that Davison looked over his shoulder, saw the defender, and purposely stuck his elbow directly into his jaw.
