any video on Cardet...I can't remember seeing any....
Kid’s got the juice. Needs to work on his shooting form as his offhand is too far under the ball but glad to see he can still knock down shots. And he’s tenacious. He’d be a hell of a get

Nolan Richardson was the last successful coach to do it. Shaka had some success too...but it wasn’t like that Arkansas team...I would sweat watching them.gee...I hope not. I don't think that style of play is sustainable come tournament time when you play two games in three days and four in eight.
........... That's freakishly long for a 6'5" guy.
Shaka doesn’t unleash very much “HAVOC” at Texas. His entire M.O. was pressure at VCU. Too many highly skilled guards in high major conferences. I’d be surprised if Brad went back to it.Nolan Richardson was the last successful coach to do it. Shaka had some success too...but it wasn’t like that Arkansas team...I would sweat watching them.
Spot on....the only way it comes back is if Gentry leaves and BU gets stubborn in his old habits and goes back to it because he doesn’t have Gentrys voice in his ear.No we won't. Illinois got murdered when it tried to play that way. It's been recurring theme for the past two years how me moved away from that full court pressure because it doesn't work in the Big Ten.
See that latest ESPN article praising Underwood's willingness to adapt and change as just the latest thematic example.
It obviously did not work for the whole game. That said, I’d love for them to randomly schedule it a few times each game to keep the other team off balance. Could turn into some easy points. They could do like third possession after timeout or 2nd possession of the half kind of thing.Spot on....the only way it comes back is if Gentry leaves and BU gets stubborn in his old habits and goes back to it because he doesn’t have Gentrys voice in his ear.
He sure seems to love himself a lot.

I'm sure there is a cure for that. We don't show out seems to be the rule. Act like you done it before. He sure seems to love himself a lot.
Must have missed all the jacked up shots and hero ball.luke goode = andy kaufman
Gentry seems to be pretty content working along side BU for quite a long timeSpot on....the only way it comes back is if Gentry leaves and BU gets stubborn in his old habits and goes back to it because he doesn’t have Gentrys voice in his ear.
I agree.Gentry seems to be pretty content working along side BU for quite a long time
I hope so. I loved it when Gentry was brought on board. Knew he would pay big dividends down the line. He's one of those great bball minds who lives diving into the analytics and X's and o's and doesn't necessarily want to deal with the politics, motivational speaking, and the spotlight of being a head coach. He's like our Theo Epstein. I can relate because I'm cut from that same cloth.Gentry seems to be pretty content working along side BU for quite a long time
Gentry runs the entire offense that is why.I was surprised last year when a video with Gentry went out explaining what the Illini are trying to accomplish on offense. You don't see assistant coaches getting the spotlight very often. This told me a lot about Underwood. He apparently is not threatened by others on his staff getting credit.
He has mentioned often that "we" are constantly challenging each other and what we do. He doesn't want a bunch of "yes men".
Kid has a nice, quiet confidence about him. Good form on a variety of 3's. I have to admit, tho, I was a little distracted watching the defensive technique used by #5 in red on the first few shots.luke goode = andy kaufman
His 3rd 3pter, the step back shot from the corner was SWEET................great shooting form and height on shot....luke goode = andy kaufman
All joking aside, I want players that are confident in their abilities. How that confidence manifests (flexing, calmly heading to the other end of the floor, pantomiming shooting ice water into their vein, etc, etc) makes no difference to me as long as it doesn't draw a T or doesn't involve taunting an opponent. Cardet looks like a winner to me and we would be very fortunate to land him.A lot of comments on Cardet flexing and being into himself like we didn’t see the exact same things out of Adam Miller’s high school highlight tapes.
Thank you! Exactly what I was thinking. All joking aside, I want players that are confident in their abilities.
