Again, it was 6. Not good, but accurate.
Officially yes, however, he takes ridiculous shots at times that have no shot at even getting to the rim. For me a shot that doesn't draw iron
and the other team comes up with the ball is a to. Just sayin.

We don't have athletes other than Ayo that can really deny a catch on an out of bounds play. Which is fine, but the ball screen coverage late was horrendous. Nobody wanted to contest Trice's shots.
Trent Frazier hit his halftime three after forcing an inbounds turnover.

Trent Frazier hit his halftime three after forcing an inbounds turnover.

If you are referring to Minnesota, that was not on the out of bound catch.

The ball was moved for a couple seconds before the bad pass.

Nice work leaving out Andre's 17 points and 7 rebounds. Now get off my lawn. :poop:
Spot on , the last couple games the experience the Illini`s Freshman are gaining is huge (and Senior leadership also) , make no mistake about it , these young men`s "brass" is getting more polished moving to the future.
This team assembled by Coach Underwood and staff with the recruits coming in , is exciting stuff looking forward , but still "chopping at the bit" of this years exciting team , special squad.
Good times for Fighting Illini` men`s basketball (once again).........

Yes!! That was a tough, team win. I don't think we win this game a month ago. The last two games will be difficult, but this team has turned a corner as far as toughness is concerned, and that bodes well for the tournament in my eyes.
I also don’t think a John Groce team wins this.

If I were Kofi, I would move onto something a little less physical, like maybe cage fighting?
I think it's admirable - to say the least - that Kofi contains and constrains himself under constant pressure and very real physical abuse. I wish him well, and I'm sure he'll be just fine down the road financially and otherwise, but if Kofi ever needs a part-time job, I would hire him as my bodyguard in a minute! Don't need one right now, but you gotta plan for the future.

Brad Davison shot 1 of 9 for four points. He effectively gave up four points on one bush-league play where a player does something dirty and tries to get it called on the other guy, known as “a Davison”.
I thought that was hilarious. Wisconsin ask fo the review and then gets the hook and hold called on them. By the way has the hook and hold ever injured anybody??? Why is that a flagrant and not just a common foul? I’m sure people will commment that it’s very dangerous. I’ve just never seen it

As aggravating as it was to watch, we beat a ranked team, in the strongest conference in the country, on their home floor, without our star All-American and potential POY...you have to feel good about that result regardless of how it was done.
Add in the fact it was their 3rd game in 5 days. Their legs were prolly feeling a little noodley. If not for Trice being unconcious the last few minutes, we win this by double digits easy. Great win!

I feel as though I only recently learned that Miller could dunk it. And today I saw that Belo can dunk it, too.

Learning is fun. Knowledge is good.
Belo had a pretty eye opening dunk earlier in the season but I can't remember the game. I bet someone else can link it.

Man, piss poor coaching job by Brad at the end there. 20 turnovers. Curbelo is great but also an absolute mess. We were pathetic on the defensive glass. Michigan is gonna curb stomp us with or without Ayo. I guess still good to win at Kohl but man what a brutal game.
omg. Really. What a hyperbolic statement. smh

It looks like ESPN isn't replaying the game. Am I wrong? Thanks.

I don't know about you but I already had none. Michigan is on another level at this point. They've now won @wiscy, @OSU, and trashed Iowa. I hate them but I'll call it like it is.

Baylor and Gonzaga
Michigan
Everyone else
I guess we shall see on 3/2. I'm not impressed. Obviously we handled Iowa. We should've beat OSU. Michigan hasn't played anyone in the nonconference. So I like our chances. Wait til they feel the street fight at mich st.

It's incredible to me how negative the comments about the team and our coaching staff can be given that we just won at Wisconsin without Ayo. Our freshman and role players are getting quality minutes that should help over the next month, of course they made mistakes but better to make mistakes now and learn. We are in line for a two seed y'all, this should be encouraging. The big ten is brutal this year and we are a game out of first. RELAX...take it in and enjoy it, god knows we have waited a long time to be complaining about win AT Wisconsin.

AWESOME WIN!
Maybe it's time to look at Curbelo's stat line a little differently. Yeah, he commits too many turnovers, but he also creates a lot of fantastic scoring opportunities. He creates point-blank opportunities for teammates in the lane, he gets himself layups and short jumpers, he gets fouled, he kicks out for open 3's. I want fewer turnovers, but I'm going to leave him on the court because of all the other positive results he produces---like WINS! And, how about that steal and dunk with 2 1/2 minutes remaining that increased our lead to 12? and the clutch 1-and-1s?
Exactly when was the last time we had a freshman PG play this well?

Nice to have the WIN is behind us, now on to the most important game of the year. We win at Michigan and we enter a new realm.
You know (most respectfully) I don’t think this game is all that important now. Don’t get me wrong I want to win it very much, but I see it as playing with “house money”. Winning today I think guarantees a 3 seed at worst. We would have to win out and win the.BIG tourney to get a 1 seed, with out Ayo? I just don’t see it.

That being said, what this could mean to Adam and Andre (Andre in particular) is more important than beating scUM and/or tOSU. If Curbello becomes a potential 3rd option to go with Ayo and Kofi because of the extra playing time. That might really lead to the real goal the NCAA championship.
