No way Warren can survive this, right? That is now an entire athletic program and parents, two coaches and an AD that I am aware of who have basically publicly called him out. I'm sure there have been many other internal discussions in the last 18 months.

Turgeon in the postgame throwing some criticism toward the league office. Basically said he informed the league weeks ago that there have been issues during their games with Michigan, but the league didn't seem to do anything with that information. So when the same issue came up again today, Turgeon says he just stood his ground. He was deliberately vague on what the issue(s) have been.
Turgeon also denies making the banner comment, but that doesn't strike me as the kind of thing someone could create out of whole cloth. He said it. You can't convince me otherwise.

I remember saying the same thing last year. Now, we're obviously in a different spot now, but three major programs in two days going down one week before the tournament kicks off. Definitely concerning.
I mean for him to want to fight a coach/team over that is ridiculous. He is coaching young men that have probably heard worse.
Sounds like B10 is not doing there job, AGAIN! Howard trash talking as a coach? I'm shocked, he seems like such a good, clean, salt of the earth type of coach

Turgeon says he contacted the league about both games against Michigan with no resolution. He told them he's not taking it a third game and he "stood his ground" and told Howard "don't talk to me." But more had to be said. Warren's gotta go.

I'll say it again: B1G coaches are a small community. We might be the only ones publicly raising a stink about how Michigan operated this season, but we're not the only ones who noticed. People talk. People remember. This is far from over.

I would guess the banner comment came from the crowd. Doesn't sound like a mid game coach jab to me. It DOES sound like a fan egging on the opposing coach.
However, who ever said it, Bravissimo - perfect blend of a deep cut at today and yesteryear.
How close is the crowd to the court? I was under the impression they were pretty far back. At least far enough back that no one would confuse someone in the crowd making the comment vs. a coach/player on the court

Midgame jab from Turgeon because it sounds like Howard trash talks the opposing bench during games (and also did it in their previous two meetings this season). Turgeon said it to shut him up.
Yea, it makes you wonder about Howard. He played on one of the dirtiest teams in NCAA history..brought in a lot of talent out of the blue...maybe not the saint that he has been portrayed as
