Wouldn't Ayo's MIF crew just go to Vogel and tell him to get rid of THT?Latest draft today has Ayo at #24 to the Lakers where he would team up with THT. Irony abounds!

I hope he checked with mom firstHope he likes playing overseas or in Asia.
this ole ball coach who still shoots one handed jump shots ala Jimmy Chitwood and two handed under free throws ala Rick Barry has as much chance as making a NBA roster as Alan GriffinNot sure where to put this.. Alan Griffin declaring for the draft and hiring an agent.
He'll only make the NBA if his dad drafts him. With his Dad an NBA coach I’m sure it’s a well informed decision.
Doesn't want to transfer again apparently and thinks NBA will be easier. He just found himself with no degree and nowhere to play college ball if he signs with an agent. Hope he likes Turkey, that is where he will be playing. Not sure where to put this.. Alan Griffin declaring for the draft and hiring an agent.
Hope he doesn’t stomp on anyone there. Could get ugly.Doesn't want to transfer again apparently and thinks NBA will be easier. He just found himself with no degree and nowhere to play college ball if he signs with an agent. Hope he likes Turkey, that is where he will be playing.
A player that signs with a NCAA-certified agent, meets specific requirements and withdraws from draft consideration at the deadline can maintain his NCAA eligibility. He just found himself with no degree and nowhere to play college ball if he signs with an agent.
His dad wanted him to stay at Illinois. With his Dad an NBA coach I’m sure it’s a well informed decision.
Alan's dad is a great guy. He loves Underwood and has nothing but respect for him. IIRC he was even tweeting praise on our coaching staff last month. His dad wanted him to stay at Illinois.
Agree. Think if he would have stayed here and really focused on improving his defense, shadowing Trent and DaMonte, think he could have made himself into a legit nba prospect.I really do think Griffin has NBA potential, I just don’t think he’s done enough to get drafted. Maybe some time in the G-league will be good for him
If Myke Henry can touch the floor in the NBA, albeit for a very short period, Alan Griffin can definitely be someone who gets two-way contracts and spends time in the G-League.I really do think Griffin has NBA potential, I just don’t think he’s done enough to get drafted. Umm..that's not exactly what his mom says.Alan's dad is a great guy. He loves Underwood and has nothing but respect for him. IIRC he was even tweeting praise on our coaching staff last month.
I personally talked to his dad before the pandemic closed down the NBA last year when he was in town playing the Mavs. He raved about BU and said Illinois was the perfect place for his son to be.Umm..that's not exactly what his mom says.
Read up more on the situation between Mr. Griffin and his ex-wife. Anyways...back to basketball.Umm..that's not exactly what his mom says.
I know the situation. The basketball reason I bring it up is because it helps explain his mom's role in his transfer to Syracuse, over his dad's objection. Also, it probably didn't help that his dad's current wife went to Illinois and would attend games at SFC to watch Alan play...Read up more on the situation between Mr. Griffin and his ex-wife.
