0444 what’s the chances we get Mitchell or Guerrier?
Guerrier ain't happening. Ask yourself when's the last time Illinois beat Oregon for a recruit that had both as viable options going into decision day?I feel better about Guerrier, likely were in top 3 before committing to Syracuse. His game seems to fit well with what we run. The need for a stretch 4 is there as well.
Okoro!...oh waitGuerrier ain't happening. Ask yourself when's the last time Illinois beat Oregon for a recruit that had both as viable options going into decision day?
Can some add fireworks? That is legitimately the most boring basketball video I’ve ever seen. At least Jack Krap has fireworks
Hard to compete with Nike bagsGuerrier ain't happening. Ask yourself when's the last time Illinois beat Oregon for a recruit that had both as viable options going into decision day?
I WAS right on Tyler Ulis that went on to Kentucky and NBA. Saw him play several times in Chicago Hts. That one was by only sleeper pick that made it big.Do you mean you’ve never been correct, or just that you haven’t been right since 1963?
Eh. Distance has been an issue with his family before wrt Oregon. I'd assume they have a better chance between sustained recent success, stability, and Mennenga, but "ain't happening" when you're in the last round of choices just seems like excessive pessimism to me. And this is coming from a dude with clinical depression.Guerrier ain't happening. We are always the underdog vs. The Field. But the biggest ain't happening Illini recruit led the NCAA in dunks this year while wearing the orange&blue this year.Guerrier ain't happening. Yes, and Kofi as wellWasnt Oregon in on AC also?
I really don't think the opportunity cost of the delay is much. So I don't think this is "too long". Like most, I'm concerned about getting a top guy in here. From our view, the "delay" means that we're not getting what we want. The reality is likely different. While a few obvious choices apparently have opted out, there are plenty of people that could end up filling this that will make me happy at the onset. Alexander doesn't thrill me but I'd be happy. Not many guys out there that would thrill me.Have a feeling Chet is going to replace some of the recruiting lost. I just wish we could get a second Asst. onboard with strong recruiting background. I know that these things take time but it is dragging out a little too long.
