Wait. You’re leaving Antigua out of the equation and downplaying that Alexander was already on the staff though he may be on the right seat on the bus now.

A great recruiter for that final spot would be nice. But if that coach is also a big man specialist who can develop frontcourt talent that would make this whole offseason feel more complete. Are there any cerebral bigs who would be attracted to the Asst HC gig?
Isn't Alexander going to be working with the bigs?

You’re a weird human.

also i can’t express enough how much I DO NOT want Jamaal Walker back here. He was here during some of the worst stretches in our history and to act like he didn’t play a part in that is naive. Come on people, have a little more imagination than retreads and alums.
This is a pretty strong take on a guy that seems to have a good reputation. Do you have inside knowledge on his true impact while he was here?

It is pretty obviou that Frazier replaces chin and alexander replaces gentry. Not fair to compare chin and alexander other than they are both from the Chicago area
I wasn't the individual that compared them. That was made by another poster entirely.

I honestly think it’s a valid point for discussion. I’m also inclined not to think Whitman and Underwood are hitting it out of the park. We’re only talking about this because they went 0 for 3 on retaining ACs. And I don’t like hearing that losing ACs is part of being successful. How many successful programs lost their entire staff?

This is fixable, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a problem.
This is a tired and idiotic take

Yep, I lived in Tuscaloosa for two VERY long years and can confirm this and then some.
To get slightly back on topic, they don't much care about BB there.
We could probably poach one of their BB AC's easily. LOL
Two questions: (1) would we really want to do that; (2) what premium would we have to pay to get him to abandon close proximity to Skyland BBQ?

I don’t know. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t know much about him except what’s reported here. Is that his bread and butter? Is he comparable to OA with coaching bigs?

On Q1...maybe, I think Nate Oats AC tree will be quality candidates...just sayin'

On Q2...I believe the "best college Pizza" in Tuscaloosa is Chucky Cheese...Manzelas or even Garcias will blow them them away.

To clarify: are you talking about pruman91 or Jamaal?
The need to clarify and answer your question resides in the top post.of this page
I will respond and hopefully erase doubts for you, my friend.

I appreciate your opinion of me as a weird human....I really do.
I feel that way because the
remaining issue of your post was about a professional coach, in YOUR opinion not performing at a level up to your standards..ok, that's cool your opinion..
Then you inspire people to have a little more imagination...
Question ....if they do ,will they be considered weird humans also?
Opinions should be thought out before posting and I am more guilty than most, but your post is what's seems like coming from a weird human. No disrespect intended

I wear the badge of weirdness with honor, but are you positive I'm a human...????? ( cue the X files theme song)
Have a wonderful life earthlings as first contact is rapidly approaching

to be fair, I lived in Tuscaloosa about 40 years ago
I took a chemistry grad course at AL and the two profs that taught it told me,
"Don't do this part-time, do it full-time but don't do it full-time here" LOL
Maybe their BB program is better now but I bet their chemistry dept is about the same.
I left for grad school at CWRU a few months later.
