We've talked about likely candidate, so, just for fun, which coach is LEAST likely to be chosen for the final AC job...can be a current head coach or assistant.

My choice: Bruce Pearl

I hear the Miller boys are looking for work...if we strike it while the iron is hot we might be able to get 2 for the price of one.

* Bruce Pearl ONLY if he has special job requirements. Participate in a public dunking booth daily? I dunno...just thinking off the cuff here. Also, those Ubben bathrooms are not gonna clean themselves.

Am conflicted by these options. On one hand The Worm could certainly help develop our bigs and fortify our rebounding. On the other hand, it appears that recruits simply can't say no to to Kim Jong-Un.

So we are going into Memorial Day Weekend with the dead period ending June 1st. In an ideal world, we'd have our assistant in place come Tuesday. If we were pursuing a college coach, I'd have to assume we'd have found a way to get a deal done by today. That we haven't, and it's still radio silent, makes me suspect we are, in fact, looking at an assistant coach in the NBA playoffs and it won't be announced till their season is over. But what do I know?

There's definitely some strong circumstantial evidence supporting this idea. Time will tell.

If BU chooses to go that route, there is one guy that immediately comes to my mind who already interviewed for a college job this spring and is very tied in on the East Coast...
