Yes. Dad was a good player Obviously as a walk on this doesn't hurt a lot. At the same time, he's more in the Jack Ingram/Brian Johnson walk on category in terms of potential.

Best of luck.
More like snacks.
He wasnt getting much time on the court but was available if starters got in foul trouble......fouled out that is

Jack Ingram was a scholarship player at Tulsa. He didn’t get a scholarship his first year at Illinois because we didn’t have one available. As soon as we did, he got one.

I don’t know what to think of Padilla. He played less than other walkons even though it was a free year. I thought he would get a few minutes here and there but he never did.

He did tug the shorts of Frye to help some which kinda makes up for the Dickie Beal travel in 1984.
I remember Frye doing that stupid facial expression after he made a basket like it was yesterday........Karma bit his arse big time.......
I still watch that game 3-4 times a year and I still get chills hearing the call on deron's 3 pter to tie it up........
good memories.............

Didn't Luther Head pay Ingram's tuition first year at Illinois?

Illinois hoops players class of 2022. Each players "offers" list (slow day...take a read. I like the kid from Oak Forest...don't think BU does!

Watched a vid of him

And thought he looked pretty solid in the highlights. Good size for such a young guy, decent instincts and awareness. Not ranked on 247, but he's got a couple decent offers.
Illinois
Iowa
Purdue
Ohio State
Ohio State
Butler
Wake Forest

He’s the real deal. He’ll be top 100 for sure. I think he could go higher. I’m beating this drum. I’d love to see him as an Illini.

Looking at the number and quality of the offer list I would rate HS players as 1. AJ Casey 2. Storr 3. Schutt 4. Pettigrew 5. Wolf

First time I've read that Ames is 6' 3". He's listed as 6' on 247. Anyone know his true height? FWLIW, I'm very skeptical that he's 6' 3".
